Bekka Palmer is a graphic designer by day... she is also an assistant run coach for Forca Kai, a CrossFit Endurance (CFE) affiliate. She started CrossFit in April 2009 and started CFE in September 2009 when she received her CFE Certification. She was training for her first race, the Carlsbad Half Marathon, during this time she had a nagging IT Band injury. She completed the Carlsbad Half, and wanted more. She joined her friends in a 200 mile team relay race from Ventura to Dana Point, California. About 2 months after this race, she read Born to Run and decided to commit to an ultramarathon.

Now that the Noble Canyon 50k is complete, she is looking for her next race!
